Markus and Andrea are your hosts, with a big heart for the detail. A former cheese production facility was the ideal location for their dream to come true: a very special kind of chalet near a ski area.
The old dairy was converted into a luxury chalet two years ago. It was especially important for Markus and Andrea to bring the valuable old items from the dairy into the new, high-quality building, such as the old farmhouse parlors from the 17th century, which were built into the sauna. The copper kettle, which was used as a cheese kettle for decades, is now used as a cold pool after an enjoyable sauna session.
“I was on the road a lot as a professional ski trainer and stayed overnight in various hotels and holiday apartments in a wide variety of places and countries. I was now able to implement all my inspirations in the Chalet Ortles. It is important to us that our guests feel comfortable down to the last detail and return home with an extra portion of satisfaction in their luggage, ” says Markus Ortler.
